Terms of Service
Last updated · 17 May 2026
Welcome to Cab Pooling. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cab Pooling mobile applications, website and services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or booking a ride, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. The service
Cab Pooling is a technology platform that connects riders with drivers for pooled or independent cab rides across our serviceable cities. We facilitate bookings, matching, fare calculation and payments; the transportation itself is provided by independent drivers.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You register with a valid mobile number and authenticate via one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Pooled rides
When you choose a Pool ride, you may share the cab with other riders travelling a compatible route. The fare is split across the seats taken and shown to you before you confirm. Seat allocation and the applicable pool message are determined by the Platform's matching logic.
4. Fares & payments
- Fares are computed from distance, time and the applicable cab class, with taxes and platform fees included. There is no surge pricing.
- The amount displayed before confirmation is what you pay. Payment is collected via your wallet or chosen method.
- Refunds for eligible cancellations are returned to your Cab Pooling wallet.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking before the ride begins. If a cab cannot be confirmed within the booking window, the booking is auto-cancelled and any amount paid is refunded. Repeated misuse of cancellations may lead to account limits.
6. Rider conduct & safety
- Treat drivers and co-riders with respect; unlawful or unsafe behaviour is prohibited.
- Every ride includes OTP verification and an in-app SOS. Misuse of safety features is a serious violation.
- We may suspend or ban accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cab Pooling is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform or the conduct of any driver or rider.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
